Finger Lakes farm and food producers are invited to learn how to get more attention in today's competitive market place at the Finger Lakes Culinary Bounty's Spring Education Day Workshop on Monday, March 30, 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, in Jordan Hall at the NYS Agricultural Experiment Station in Geneva. The morning program includes two concurrent sessions - one focused on developing a processed product, the second on strategies for getting products to market. Featured speakers include Dr. Olga Padilla-Zakour, director of the NYS Food Venture Center, along with experienced Finger Lakes food business owners who will share their stories. Next Michael Welch, Publisher of Edible Finger Lakes Magazine, will talk about what makes a good story for print media followed by radio personality, Michael Warren Thomas, who will discuss getting on radio shows to tell your story.
