FLCB's Cookbook! Print E-mail

Members of FLCB are invited to profile their businesses and provide a recipe for a new cookbook being proposed and compiled by Side Order Books.  Side Order Books owners, Michael Turback and Thomas Pellechia have written and published over 20 cookbooks and feel there is good demand for a Finger Lakes Cookbook featuring FLCB members and our region.

In order to move forward with this exciting project to promote our region, our mission and your businesses we need 1,500 books PRE-ORDERED by March 15 for the books to be ready by Fall 2010.

Note:  You do not need to provide a cookbook recipe or profile in order to order and sell books.

WANT TO BE FEATURED IN FLCB'S COOKBOOK?

Recipes may be submitted by FLCB member wineries, chefs, farmers, food processors, and others who like to cook. The recipe should feature ingredients that can be obtained in the Finger Lakes and whenever possible, specify the farm that products come from.  The goal is to feature the Finger Lake’s Culinary Bounty!

Members interested in participating in the cookbook will be asked to complete a survey that is returned to the publisher and work with the publisher providing information in a timely manner so the book can be printed by Fall 2010. Click here to find out more and sign the PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT.

WANT TO PRE-ORDER BOOKS?

FLCB members can purchase books for resale or gifts by completing the PURCHASE AGREEMENT.

A minimum order of 5 books at $10 each is required ($50).
